Ingredients
1 cup E-Z-Bake Corn Meal
1 cup Enriched E-Z-Bake Flour
3 tsp. baking powder
3/4 tsp. salt
1 egg
1 cup milk
1/4 cup melted shortening
Directions
Sift together enriched flour, corn meal, baking powder, and salt. Add milk and shortening to beaten egg. Add dry ingredients, stirring just enough to moisten. Pour into greased pan 8"x8"x2". Bake in hot oven (400° F) 30-35 min. Serve piping hot.
