Ingredients
2 cups E-Z-Bake Super-Rise Corn Meal
2 tablespoons E-Z-Bake Flour
1 cup sweet milk or water
1 egg
1 1/2 tablespoons finely chopped onions
Directions
Measure E-Z-Bake Super-Rise Corn Meal Mix into a mixing bowl. Add milk, flour, milk, beaten egg and finely chopped onions and stir until thoroughly blended. Drop a teaspoonful of batter for each hush puppy into hot (about 360°) fat, preferably where fish was fried. Fry until golden brown, drain on absorbent paper, spread with butter and serve hot with fish. This recipe makes 16 to 18 hush puppies.
